Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

iWonder (“the Service”) is operated by iwonder Pte Ltd, 1 Keong Saik Road, Singapore 089109. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, including mandatory consumer rights.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access and use iWonder for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include:

  • Modifying or copying materials
  • Using materials for commercial purposes
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or decompile the Service
  • Removing any copyright or proprietary notations

These restrictions do not limit uses or exceptions permitted by applicable law.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account and password
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Collect or harvest information about other users
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission

Content

iWonder combines documentary discovery with several ways to watch:

  • Our Plus catalogue and associated materials are provided under our rights agreements.
  • YouTube embeds use YouTube's official player and are delivered by YouTube.
  • Discovery listings may link to other services or provide information without offering playback on iWonder.

User-generated content (playlists, comments, ratings) remains your property, but you grant us a license to use, modify, and display such content on our platform.

Rights Holder Notice

A catalogue listing, link or embed does not mean that iWonder owns the underlying work. Availability on third-party services can change. Our licensed streaming catalogue is separate from third-party links and embeds.

Copyright concerns about videos, images or other material displayed, linked to or embedded by iWonder may be sent to our designated agent, Copyright Manager, at copyright@iwonder.com. Full agent contact details and submission instructions are at iwonder.com/copyright. A successful video-notice form submission displays a reference number. We review notices and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to material, links or embeds.

We consider repeated notices and whether the evidence supports restrictions beyond an individual item. We record source-level decisions for subsequent review; a complaint about one work does not by itself establish that all material from that source is unauthorised.

Removing our link or player does not remove a video from the platform hosting it. You may also contact that platform about its upload without waiting for our review.

Subscriptions and Payments

If you purchase a subscription:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion and in accordance with applicable laws

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by iWonder and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. Documentary information is sourced from public databases and third-party providers.

Data Attribution & Third-Party Sources

Documentary metadata, artwork, and imagery displayed on the Service are sourced in part from third-party databases, including The Movie Database (TMDB) and JustWatch. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. We are also grateful to JustWatch for streaming-availability data.

Poster images, backdrops, and other artwork remain the property of their respective copyright holders and help users identify and discover documentary films. The Service does not claim ownership of third-party artwork. Rights holders may report specific imagery to our designated copyright agent. Supplier access or attribution does not replace our assessment of a claim about a particular work.

Disclaimer

The information on iWonder is provided on an “as is” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall iWonder or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such damage.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
