Synopsis

Zlata, a twelve-year-old girl, arrives in Belgium after fleeing the war in Ukraine. Her mother, Ira, and younger brother, Martin, accompany her, while her father, Petro, remains in Ukraine with their cat, Findus. In her new environment, Zlata attempts to adapt and understand her identity. She deals with the uncertainty of her father's return. The documentary captures her gradual process of opening up as she navigates this unfamiliar life.
