Synopsis

In São Paulo, students mobilized in 2015 against the planned closure of over 90 schools during a socio-political crisis. Filmmaker Eliza Capai captures the movement as students occupied more than a thousand public buildings to demand their right to education. The protests began with demonstrations in 2013 and continued through the election of Jair Bolsonaro in 2018. The film features news clips, interviews, and footage from activists, illustrating the role of youth activism in Brazil's political changes.
