Maori Hara lost his home in a fire in 2018, along with all his belongings and film equipment. In "Yakeato Chronicle," he documents his efforts to rebuild his life after this loss. The film combines salvaged 8mm footage from the ruins with digital clips shot on an iPhone. Co-produced with his partner, the documentary reflects on the challenges and processes involved in recovery and renewal. It runs for 84 minutes and was released in 2022.
