An Army nurse recalls her experiences in the Pacific Theater while a member of the Tuskegee Airmen shares his story from the skies over Europe. WWII in HD is a 10-part miniseries that aired on the History Channel from November 15 to November 19, 2009. It features twelve American service members, including a second-generation Japanese American who became a prisoner of war and an Austrian Jewish immigrant.
