Synopsis
A young farmer and his donkey named Bartolo join folk music artists in Puglia, Italy, in May 2021. They walk 200 kilometers from Torre Guaceto in Brindisi to Santa Maria di Leuca in Lecce. This group forms the "Company of Wise Donkeys." The film follows their path along the ancient Via Francigena. It captures the memory, traditions, and popular culture of the Salento region. The documentary runs for 74 minutes.
