Synopsis

At the end of March, a dispute over a mega Basin in Sun Celine escalates as several thousand demonstrators clash with police, resulting in tear gas, fireworks, stones, and serious injuries on both sides. The construction site aims to build a large reservoir for rainwater to be used for irrigation during the summer months. The village of Sun Celine, with its 300 inhabitants, is divided over the project. Arturo Pero, a farmer in favor of the reservoir, has already connected his farm to the basin, while Remy Larendo, another farmer against it, fears his well will run dry if rainwater is diverted. He cultivates vegetables on three hectares and is concerned about the impact on groundwater levels.
