Synopsis
In 2008, Henan Guo Hui, a harvester, travels with his father and a driver through the provinces of Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Henan to collect wheat. Along the way, they engage with local farmers, discussing the aftermath of the Sichuan earthquake and the challenges of wheat collection. The group navigates negotiations, often resorting to informal agreements to secure their earnings. Tensions arise between the driver and the car owner over expenses, while they also face tolls and unexpected encounters on the road.
