Synopsis
A 3-car class 175 Coradia DMU travels from Milford Haven to Manchester Piccadilly, entering Newport, a key location on the Welsh Marches. The railway follows the border between Wales and England, passing through Abergavenny, Hereford, Shrewsbury, and Nantwich. Signalling operations switch from the South Wales Control Centre to a 1960’s panel signal box at Little Mill, then to traditional mechanical signalling at Abergavenny. Cameras document the control systems and the scenic route, filmed in mid-summer, up to Crewe.
