Synopsis
In the shadows of post-World War II Europe, NATO established a covert organization known as Gladio, tasked with preparing civilians to counter a potential communist invasion. Operatives, bound by an oath of silence, trained across various countries, including Italy, Germany, and Belgium. After being exposed in the 1990s, many remained silent until now. This documentary provides unprecedented access to Italian secret service files and other documentation, allowing former members to recount their activities during their years of service.
