Synopsis

In Chapais, a town in northern Quebec, residents confront the decline of their former mining community. As economic pressures mount, they resist the urge to leave their hometown. The film captures their daily lives and the bonds that tie them to the land. Through personal stories and local music, the narrative unfolds over 80 minutes, revealing the determination of a community facing uncertainty while holding onto its identity.
