Synopsis

Luzhitsy, a village in the Leningrad region, becomes a focal point for significant change from spring to winter 2021. During this time, industrial development begins to alter the natural and social environment dramatically. The Volga region, home to a small people with a rich history, faces particular challenges as they navigate the impacts of modernization. The film captures the struggles of this community, which has endured wars, revolutions, and the Stalinist era.
