Brasília, once celebrated as the 'city of hope' and a symbol of 20th-century utopia, stands in stark contrast to its original vision in 1998. Matthias Müller combines amateur footage and feature films from the early sixties with his own travelogue, revealing the city's current state of abandonment. Once vibrant, Brasília now resembles a museum, maintained by a small staff. The film reflects on the irony of its deserted streets and the fading dream of its architectural significance.
