Using roadkill for fashion
Synopsis
Pamela Paquin uses roadkill to create chic fur accessories, redefining fashion norms.
Synopsis
Pamela Paquin wants to transform the fur industry by using roadkill to create fashionable accessories. The U.S. designer uses what she calls 'accidental fur' to make items like muffs, wrist cuffs, and hats. Whenever she hears of a dead animal by the side of the road, she promptly removes the pelt while leaving the rest of the animal for other wildlife. Paquin finds no distaste in her work and aims to change perceptions about fur fashion. Could this innovative approach redefine chic in the fashion world?
