Rene Moreno, a graduate of a special high school in San Antonio, Texas, embarks on a new chapter in life after graduation. Filmmaker Duane Graves, a lifelong friend, uses digital tapes and a camera bought with eBay earnings to document Rene's experiences over the course of a year. The film captures Rene's optimistic approach to adulthood as he confronts societal prejudices related to his Down syndrome.
