Unseen

Synopsis

Long Island, New York, was the site of a series of crimes in 2009 when eleven bodies of women were discovered near the home of a known sex offender. Survivors of these incidents share their accounts in "Unseen." The film details police and community failures that allowed these acts to continue without intervention. Interviews with victims reveal the longstanding indifference towards violence against women and call for change in law enforcement response and societal attitudes toward domestic violence.
