Synopsis
A recording studio fills with the sounds of jazz as musicians engage in a spontaneous jam session. Their improvisation synchronizes with a tape featuring freely available footage from security cameras worldwide. The visuals capture a range of moments, from everyday life to nature, blending joy and sorrow. As the music plays, the original surveillance context of the videos fades, transforming them into abstract, liberated images. "un/Hook" runs for 18 minutes and was released in 2021.
