Synopsis
Ammar al-Beik spends seven months in a Syrian refugee camp on the outskirts of Berlin, starting in September 2014. Assigned a small cubicle, he uses his phone camera to document life in exile. He films the conditions around him and challenges the norms of traditional filmmaking. Al-Beik transforms his cramped space and the bleak environment into a personal universe, creating a unique narrative of survival and resistance.
