Synopsis

A rural boy, once a projectionist who entertained village clubs, contracted tuberculosis while in prison. Sixty years later, a man serving a life sentence for murder and robbery also fell ill with the same disease. Both stories unfold within the confines of prison walls. Directed by Anna Tokhmakhchi, Treat/Punish runs for 31 minutes and presents a stark contrast between two lives shaped by crime and illness.
