Synopsis
Joe Simpson and Simon Yates reached the summit of Siula Grande in 1985. After their ascent, Simpson suffered a severe leg injury during the descent. The two climbers faced extreme weather and difficult terrain. Yates attempted to lower Simpson using a rope.
