John Kelly and Damian Hall attempt to break the fastest known time on the Pennine Way, Great Britain’s oldest National Trail. This 268-mile route features approximately 37,000 feet of ascent. In 2020, the two elite ultra runners, supported by their crews and pacers, face the daunting record set by Mike Hartley. The film captures their physical and mental challenges as they tackle one of the toughest tasks of their athletic careers.
