Synopsis

Sachiko spent six years writing letters to her husband, who went missing after the 9.0-magnitude earthquake struck Japan on March 11, 2011. Local broadcasting station TV Iwate responded to the disaster by providing daily updates and support to families seeking information about their loved ones. Over ten years, the station recorded approximately 1,850 hours of footage. The film follows the lives of those affected, including Kayoko and Daisuke, who navigate parenthood amid the ongoing challenges of grief and the coronavirus pandemic.
