Synopsis
Sam, a young man who died at twenty, was the best friend of director Tyson Malaihollo. Together, with co-director Rosanne Gjaltema, they present the stories of five young adults grieving his sudden loss. Set against the backdrop of their shared memories, the film addresses the challenges of coping with suicide and aims to break taboos surrounding mental health. "Together," or "Samen" in Dutch, runs for 25 minutes and was released in 2021.
