Their father, Oscar, controlled their access to the outside, allowing only a few monitored trips each year. The film captures their unique upbringing and the impact of their isolation on their development. The narrative shifts when Mukunda, one of the brothers, decides to venture outside the apartment at age 15. This act of rebellion leads to the brothers gradually exploring Manhattan and discovering life beyond their confined existence.
