Synopsis

Three Siberian Estonian women reflect on their family's history of deportation from Estonia in the 19th century. Their ancestors were sent away as criminals but found fertile land in Siberia, where they built new lives. Now, 170 years later, the women face a critical moment. As war looms, they consider returning to Estonia, a place they have long called home. The documentary runs for 71 minutes and presents their stories against the backdrop of shifting circumstances.
