Synopsis

Jean Boué, a filmmaker residing in Prignitz, Germany, follows five candidates-Mr Pohle, Mr Domres, Mr Hoffmann, Mr Schneewolf, and Mr Czajkowski-competing for a direct mandate in the Potsdam parliament. Their campaigns address the concerns of the rural population, often overlooked by the media and political discourse. Boué reflects on local conditions that contribute to the growing disconnect between urban politics and rural needs. The film runs for 65 minutes and was released in 2019.
