Synopsis

Captain Edward J. Smith stands on the bridge of the Titanic as the ship departs from Southampton, England, on its maiden voyage in April 1912. Known as 'The Wonder Ship,' the Titanic is celebrated for its luxury and deemed 'unsinkable.' The documentary recounts the ship's tragic collision with an iceberg, which tears a gash over 300 feet long in its hull. As the vessel sinks into the Atlantic, lifeboats are prepared, but they can only accommodate half the passengers, leading to chaos and despair. The film revisits the events surrounding this maritime disaster and the ongoing mystery of its causes.
