Synopsis

Li, a man in his seventies, spends his afternoons sitting by the window of his rental place, smoking cigarettes. The sounds of water dripping in the kitchen and pigeons roosting nearby punctuate his solitude. He finds himself emotionally tied to the television programs he watches, often recalling memories of family gatherings and ancestral worship. As the New Year approaches, Li reflects on his loneliness, feeling distanced from the dreams he once held, while the familiar routines of life continue unchanged.
