Synopsis

Henrik, a Danish war veteran, returns from Afghanistan struggling with severe post-traumatic stress disorder. After facing multiple unsuccessful treatments, he travels to the Amazon jungle in search of healing. Over three years, Henrik engages with natural remedies and the hallucinogenic drink Ayahuasca. The film captures his personal battles and quest for inner peace, while also addressing the challenges veterans encounter and the role of indigenous healing practices in mental health.
