Synopsis
Amsterdam schoolchildren spend a year learning in various gardens across the city. Under the guidance of their teachers, they practice essential gardening skills such as sowing carrots and fertilizing soil. Students also learn about the timing of vegetable harvests. The film captures the wildlife that inhabits these gardens, revealing what burrows through the soil while the children sleep.
