Synopsis
Jeanette Varberg, an archaeologist, leads a group of Danish sailors and Viking experts on an expedition across the North Atlantic. They retrace the legendary voyages of the Vikings, covering over 5,000 kilometers. Along the way, Chef Nikolaj Kirk prepares traditional Viking dishes, linking culinary practices to the past. The crew faces challenging waters while examining the historical significance of Viking raids and their impact on global exploration. This project aims to deepen understanding of Viking heritage and maritime skills.
