Synopsis
Grant Korgan, a Lake Tahoe native and world-class adventurer, faced a life-changing accident on March 5, 2010, resulting in a burst fracture of his L1 vertebrae. Two years later, on January 17, 2012, he set out with two seasoned explorers to become the first spinal cord injured athlete to push to the geographic South Pole. The film captures Korgan's physical and emotional trials as he confronts the extreme conditions of one of the planet's most unforgiving environments.
