Three women at Missouri State Prison serve lengthy sentences for killing their abusive husbands. For over thirty years, they have been unable to present evidence of the violence they endured. In 2000, a new law enacted by Missouri's Governor requires the parole board to reevaluate their cases. "The Perfect Victim" presents their stories and critiques a justice system that has often ignored domestic violence.
