Synopsis

In Latvia, a Latvian director teams up with a Norwegian colleague who speaks Russian to address longstanding divisions within the community. Following the Soviet Union's collapse, many immigrants remained in Latvia, leading to ongoing mutual suspicion. Over 20 years later, the director seeks to understand these tensions and develop an integration plan. He soon realizes that the responsibility for bridging gaps lies with the Latvians themselves.
