Synopsis
Julia, a 65-year-old transsexual, lives with her partner Ignacio in a suburb of Montevideo, Uruguay. After years of struggle, Julia's gender identity gains recognition from the Uruguayan state. As they prepare for their marriage, the film captures their daily lives, revealing their joys and concerns. Ignacio's past as a construction worker adds complexity to their relationship.
