Synopsis
Chao Doungduen, the last princess of the Kingdom of Chiang Mai, clings to her royal identity at 89 years old. Since the kingdom's annexation into Thailand in 1894, she has lived in a secluded environment, largely cut off from the outside world. Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, her memories increasingly drift into the past. Her niece, a documentary filmmaker, visits her periodically, creating a surreal atmosphere reminiscent of a living museum. As her memories fade, the film questions whether her belief in her royal lineage offers any comfort in her twilight years.
