Synopsis
Dylan Bowman runs along California’s Lost Coast, a rugged stretch of shoreline that has thwarted engineers for decades. The area is so challenging that Highway One, which runs from Orange County to Canada, avoids it entirely. Instead, the highway veers inland due to the steep cliffs of the King Range. In this 8-minute documentary from 2018, Bowman attempts to set the Fastest Known Time for traversing this remote coastline while facing the powerful tides of the Pacific Ocean.
