Synopsis
A mother and daughter face a pressing urgency as assisted suicide in Switzerland requires Hilkka's fingers to be functional before their planned trip.
Synopsis
Hilkka and Hertta prepare for a trip to Switzerland, where assisted suicide is legal. In Finland, euthanasia cannot be obtained under a doctor's supervision. Hilkka has expressed her wish for assisted suicide, but the decision is difficult for both. Time is a factor; Hilkka’s physical condition is deteriorating, and her fingers must be functional for the process in Switzerland. Dark humor provides some relief as the mother and daughter navigate this urgent situation.
