Synopsis

Ronnie Kray's committal to Broadmoor followed his diagnosis as insane in 1968. "The Krays - The Prison Years" recounts the lives of the infamous twins during their time in prison until their deaths. The documentary features never-before-seen footage and interviews with individuals who had direct connections to the Krays. Among those interviewed are Wilf Pine, Ronnie's business manager, and Freddie Foreman, who served time alongside the twins. The film also covers Reggie Kray's multiple marriage proposals to Maureen Flanagan while incarcerated.
