Synopsis

Bjarni Haraldsson, the 83-year-old shopkeeper, runs Verzlun H. Júlíusson in Sauðárkrókur, North Iceland. Opened by his father in 1919, the store remains the last of its kind in the country. Inside, customers find a mix of goods, from tea pots to batteries, all amidst furniture and scales that have not changed in decades.
