Synopsis

Vreoci, a village in Serbia, faces destruction as plans to expand a nearby mine progress. Residents resist leaving their homes, fearing the loss of their church and cemetery, which hold their ancestors. The state argues that the mine's expansion will benefit the community's future. Tensions rise as locals grapple with the decision to abandon their heritage for proposed economic gains.
