Tim Burke presents a dream machine inspired by Brion Gysin in a 16mm anthology that features experimental super 8 films by Derek Jarman, Michael Kostiff, Cerith Wyn Evans, and John Maybury. Jarman's contribution is a reimagined version of his 1977 work, Art and the Pose, filmed at 3 frames per second with a musical score. Conceived as a tribute to William Burroughs and Gysin's 1982 visit to the UK, the project was completed in 1986 after securing funding from the British Film Institute.
