Synopsis

Jonathan Santos, a 22-year-old soldier, documents his 37 days in Iraq through video and writing. His footage captures the chaos of war, including high explosives and makeshift brews. Santos reflects on life and death in his handwritten diary, unaware that day 38 will end his life. The film features his friend Matthew, who recounts his own survival story. Together, they provide a personal account of the experiences faced by soldiers in combat. Directed by Laurel Spellman, the documentary runs for 42 minutes.
