Synopsis
Desmond T. Doss stands on the battlefield at Hacksaw Ridge in Okinawa during World War II. As a combat medic, he refuses to carry a weapon due to his Seventh-day Adventist beliefs. Despite facing ridicule from fellow soldiers, Doss demonstrates remarkable bravery by rescuing 75 wounded men from a perilous cliff. Directed by Terry Benedict, the documentary features testimonies from soldiers who witnessed Doss's actions, which ultimately led to his receipt of the Medal of Honor for his service.
