Synopsis

A man spends 60 years constructing a massive cathedral in a small community. He uses waste and recycled materials, working mostly alone without any architectural training. Throughout the project, he never draws a single sketch. His neighbors often call him a madman for his unconventional methods. Directed by Denis Dobrovoda, the 2022 documentary "The Cathedral" follows this unique endeavor and the man's commitment to his vision. The film runs for 87 minutes.
