The film follows their attempts to address their estrangement through phone conversations and reflections on her absence. They aim to give voice to their mother's experiences while grappling with their own unresolved emotions. Directed by René Ballesteros, "The Burn" reflects on family dynamics and the lasting effects of loss. It runs for 65 minutes and was produced in Chile and France in 2010.
