Synopsis

Four women in Stockholm have been friends for decades. They survived Auschwitz as teenagers and are now nearly one hundred years old. They share a passion for playing bridge and often reflect on their past. Their lives change dramatically after Hamas' attack and the ensuing war in Gaza. Directed by Bengt Bok, The Bridgeplayers runs for 82 minutes and addresses the Holocaust and its lasting effects.
