Almost 100 short films were created over five decades by doctor Vitolis Laumakys and engineer Adolfas Morėnas at their amateur film studio in Lithuania.
Synopsis
Vitolis Laumakys, a doctor, and Adolfas Morėnas, an engineer, began their friendship in 1962 while repairing a motorcycle. That same year, they founded an amateur film studio called “The Amateur” in Lithuania. Over the next five decades, they produced nearly a hundred short films, making the studio a significant part of their lives. As they work on digitalizing their film archives, they confront challenges that threaten the future of their beloved studio.
