Synopsis

A series of voices recount the tragic events of the deadliest structural failure accident in modern history. Inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s film 'Rashomon', "Testimony of a Thread" presents a monologue collage that seeks to humanize the victims behind the statistics. Each individual is portrayed as more than just a number, revealing their stories and perspectives. The film runs for 52 minutes and invites reflection on the nature of reality and perception in the aftermath of disaster.
