A boat approaches the shore of Ecuador, signaling a return to roots. Alexandra Cuesta, the director, captures landscapes from the northern to the southern regions of the country. The film uses imagery inspired by Henri Michaux to reflect on concepts of home and belonging. Cuesta’s first feature film is a visual representation of her native land's geography and culture, blending foreign and familiar perspectives.
